Severed in Captian John Stinnett's Company (his brother in law), ODD Battalion, Mounted Rangers, Illinois Volunteers, during the Black Hawk War. 6 Jun 1832 to 4 Sep 1832. He died in Jun 1856 in Berlin, Lafayette, Missouri. He has Ancestral File number MMMV-DK, 10R2-VVJ. 1910 Census for Jessie says his father was born in Tennessee.
1850 Census for Schuyler Co. Il. says:
