Robert Willard Hunter was born in Carl county, Missouri, on Oct. 3.
1870, and died in Omaha, Neb., on April 30. 1931.
He was the son of Jesse and Su san Hunter. He came to Mills county with his parents
in 1881. On April 4, 1894, he was united in marriage to Miss Dora McMillan of
Malvern, Ia. Four sons and one daughter were born to this union. Mrs. Hunter
and the five children are all living. The children are, in the order of their
birth, Jesse W. of Omaha, Neb.; Dewey W. of Wichita, Kan.; Clyde P. of Omaha,
Neb.; Mrs. Margaret G. Swiger, Red Oak, Ia.; Lawrence J. of Omaha, Neb. There
are six grandchildren.
In addition to his own family, the deceased is survived by two sisters. Mrs.
Etta Bannister of Glenwood and Mrs. Lucy Dupin of Detroit, Mich. Two brothers
of Mr. Hunter are still living, Hiram of South Bend, Neb., and William of Long
Beach Cal.
The people of Glenwood and community extend their heartfelt sympathy to Mrs.
Hunter and children and the other relatives in this hour of their deep sorrow.
Funeral- services were held in the Methodist church at Glenwood on Sunday afternoon,
May 3, with. Rev.
J. F. Arnold in charge. Music was furnished by a selected quartet. Interment
was in Glenwood cemetery.

He was married to Mary Dora MCMULLEN (daughter of
William A MCMULLEN and Hannah Margaret (MCCLAIRE)) on 4
